Ethical Argument Checklist

After an initial draft, work through the revision and editing techniques prescribed in the classroom readings.  Pay close attention to aspects of Standard English guidelines: eliminate all contractions; eliminate questions from the body-paragraphs, stay in 3rd-person-voice throughout the essay, etc.

To Revise, Proofread, and Polish Your Writing:

After an initial revision and revision and editing of the rough draft, read through your paper and check the appropriate boxes on the chart below for completion. If any area of your paper needs additional revision, make sure you correct it before submitting your essay.

Use the Grading Rubric in Blackboard and the proofreading checklist to draft and revise your essay. (You must plan your time wisely so that you have at least a 24-hour period to both revise and edit your paper.)
